Ladybird


Ladybird is part of a large family Coccinellidae which has about 5000 species in the world. More than 450 species found in North America & 100 species in Europe. Ladybird Colours vary from red, black, white, yellow, orange, gray, blue and even metalik.Berikut several species of Ladybird.

Ladybird feed by sucking the body fluids of its prey. Ladybird larvae can eat up to 25 aphids a day, while Ladybird adult can eat up more than 50 aphids a day.

There is also a species of fungus-eating Ladybird herbivore plant destroyer (mildew), namely Psyllobora vigintiduopunctata.
